I came to cannabis medicine through an unlikely path: molecular genetics research, an ophthalmology residency, and an MBA. Each shaped how I think about plant medicine today.

My PhD work in molecular genetics gave me a deep appreciation for individual biological variation — why two patients with the same condition can respond completely differently to the same intervention. That principle drives everything we do at MMCO.

During my four years of ophthalmology training, I worked extensively with intraocular pressure management — directly relevant to the glaucoma patients we now serve through our cannabis practice.

Today, I lead a multi-state precision cannabis practice serving over 1,000 active patients across Florida, Ohio, and Oklahoma. I am currently completing a Master's in Medical Cannabis Therapeutics to deepen the clinical rigour of our protocols.

Cannabis is not a wellness commodity — it is a precision pharmacological intervention that deserves the same scientific rigour we apply to any other medicine.
